Cardinal Clinic occupies a historic private estate on the edge of Windsor's green belt. Grounds & Gardens
Our 23-acre private estate includes formal gardens, woodland walks, and a heated outdoor pool — facilities rarely found in mental health settings. Time outdoors is an integral part of many patients' recovery, and our grounds team maintains the estate year-round to the highest standard.
Common Areas
The historic building provides a range of communal spaces: a Tudor-beamed hall, a Victorian stained glass sitting room, a conservatory opening onto the grounds, and a dedicated dining room where our chefs prepare fresh, nutritionally balanced meals daily. Therapy rooms are quiet, well-appointed, and designed for focus.
Patient Rooms
All 23 inpatient rooms are en-suite and individually furnished. Many retain original period features — including the distinctive curved bay windows with leaded glass — while offering modern comforts: climate control, flat-screen television, and views across the grounds. Separate laundry facilities are available for inpatients.
